How To disable/enable the non-genuine ink warning message. To disable the non-genuine ink warning message you will need to disable Status Monitor.
Note:
Status Monitor provides on-screen information about the status of your printing system, including ink levels and error warning messages. Disabling the non-genuine ink warning message and Status Monitor will also disable this functionality.
Disabling/Enabling Status Monitor Tips:
- The option to disable Status Monitor is accessed via the 'Maintenance' tab or 'Utility' tab of the 'Print Printing Preferences' or 'Properties' windows.
- The following screen shots are different depending on the product.
- Click on the 'Maintenance' tab or 'Utility' tab.
- Now click on the 'Speed & Progress' button.
- Status Monitor is enabled by default.
- To disable Status Monitor click on the box next to 'Disable EPSON Status Monitor 3'. A tick should appear in the box.
- Status Monitor is now disabled. Checking of ink levels and for errors via the computer is now no longer possible.
- To re-enable Status Monitor, click on the box next to 'Disable EPSON Status Monitor 3'. The tick should now disappear.
